Formerly Vantage Management Solutions, Inc., Opvantek, Inc. was started in 1997 with the purpose of developing best-in-class asset management solutions for the gas, electric and water utility industries. Its earliest and most widely distributed software product, Optimain®, was first introduced to the gas distribution industry in 1990. The company has continued to improve Optimain and develop additional asset management software products since that time.
